About this fabric

The visible weave combines small dark and light flecks in a compact, pebbled texture, rather than a printed motif. Made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, this 138cm-wide chenille is listed as Contract upholstery grade. Flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to Crib 5 contract grade. Professional aftercare is specified for maintaining the fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe colourway on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its mushroom depth can soften darker timber, charcoal or earthy brown furnishings. The restrained micro-texture also suits tailored upholstery in rooms that need warmth without a strong pattern.

A warm mushroom-taupe chenille with a close, subtly mottled weave for tailored upholstery schemes.

Pairs well with

NAP3458 is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
