About this fabric

The visible colour sits between burnt orange and earthy brown, with lighter and darker threads creating a subdued, woven depth rather than a flat block of colour. Its close chenille texture catches the light in small, irregular horizontal marks across the surface. Made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, this 138cm-wide fabric is specified for Contract upholstery. Professional aftercare is required, and it has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm rust-terracotta colourway on an armchair, sofa or banquette where its earthy depth can sit alongside walnut, aged leather, cream upholstery and muted olive accents. The softly textured surface also works well as a grounded contrast to smoother, pale fabrics.

The warm rust-terracotta tone and subtle chenille texture bring depth to contemporary upholstery and contract seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
