Messina FabricMES3805

This Messina colourway is a softly mottled chenille in dusty rose terracotta. Fine woven texture and uneven tonal bands give the close-up surface a gently weathered depth, rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

MES3805 is a 100% rPET chenille, 138cm wide and rated for contract and domestic upholstery. The colour sits between dusty rose and softened terracotta, with a warm, muted depth rather than a bright red. Close up, the surface shows a compact woven construction with softly irregular tonal shading and a subtle chenille nap that catches light unevenly. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ®, with treatment available for contract grade.

How to use it

Its muted rose-teracotta tone brings warmth to occasional chairs, sofas and headboards without the intensity of a saturated red. Balance the colour with chalky neutrals, warm oak and brushed brass for a softly layered scheme.

Use its muted rose-teracotta warmth to soften contemporary upholstery and pair with natural woods, cream textiles and aged metals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
