About this fabric

Made from 100% rPET, this 138cm-wide chenille has a tactile, nubby weave that reads as warm and substantial in the swatch. The rust base shifts towards caramel where the textured threads catch the light, while deeper brown-red flecks add gentle tonal variation. It is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable for practical everyday use. The fabric has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFRĀ® flame retardancy and can be treated to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this earthy rust terracotta with oatmeal, tobacco and warm neutral upholstery for a grounded scheme, or use it as a richly coloured accent against pale timber and cream walls.

Use this warm rust tone to bring earthy depth to sofas, armchairs and occasional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
