About this fabric

This Napoli colourway combines dark terracotta, russet and brown tones, giving the surface a warm, grounded depth rather than a bright red finish. Its chenille construction has a compact, tactile weave with irregular horizontal texture that catches the light in subtly varied bands. Made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose, the 138cm-wide fabric is catalogued as Contract upholstery. Aftercare is professional; it offers Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the deep burnt-rust tone on an armchair, sofa or banquette where its warm, earthy colour can anchor cream, tobacco, dark timber and aged-metal accents. The understated horizontal texture adds depth without introducing a separate pattern.

A dense burnt-rust chenille with subtle horizontal texture for contract upholstery and richly coloured seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
