About this fabric

This upholstery fabric is woven in 43% viscose, 33% cotton and 24% polyester, giving the design a soft handle with the durability expected from a 45,000 Martindale rub test. At 137 cm wide, Wicked Taupe is suitable for statement seating and structured pieces that can carry its large 17.5 cm by 12 cm repeat. The colourway reads as a warm, grounded taupe with lighter sandy lines tracing the zigzag pattern, so the contrast feels refined rather than stark. Its mix of matte and lightly lustrous yarns adds depth across the chevron bands and gives the cloth a smart, contemporary finish.

How to use it

Use Wicked Taupe on a sofa, occasional chair or ottoman where the large chevron can become a focal point. It works especially well with natural timber, oatmeal linens and aged metal details, thanks to its warm mushroom tone.

Pairs well with walnut, parchment and brushed brass for a calm tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
