About this fabric

This Skye fabric is woven in 51% Recycled Wool, 39% Recycled Acrylic and 10% Recycled Polyester, giving the surface a gently napped, natural handle that suits both upholstery and drapery. The repeat is very restrained at V 0cm / H 2cm approx, so the tiny herringbone effect reads more like texture than pattern from a distance. Fraser Taupe sits in a muted mid-tone taupe with beige warmth and a slightly heathered finish that catches the light without shine. At approx. 144cm wide, it is a practical width for larger upholstered pieces as well as full-length curtains.

How to use it

Use Fraser Taupe on a sofa, banquette or tailored armchair where its subtle herringbone can add depth without competing with other finishes. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged oak and soft black accents for a calm, contemporary scheme.

A quietly tailored taupe that works beautifully on upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
