About this fabric
This 138cm-wide chenille is made from an acrylic, polyester and viscose mix and is graded for domestic upholstery. The colourway is predominantly charcoal and near-black, interrupted by chalky silver-grey marks that form irregular horizontal and vertical striations. Its visibly dense, tactile weave gives the surface depth rather than a flat printed appearance. It meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; aftercare is professional.
How to use it
Use this charcoal-and-silver colourway on a contemporary sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its high-contrast texture can define the silhouette. Balance the dark ground with pale grey, brushed metal and softer neutral furnishings.
The charcoal ground and silver-grey irregular striations bring graphic depth to contemporary upholstered seating.
