Murano FabricMUR3023

MUR3023 has a softly weathered surface in dusty blush taupe, crossed by pale blue-white marks that resemble broken brushstrokes. The layered colour gives this chenille a gently faded, tactile appearance rather than a flat plain finish.

About this fabric

This Murano chenille combines acrylic, polyester and viscose, with the mixed fibres contributing to its softly varied surface. The colourway blends warm blush, muted taupe and chalky pale blue highlights, while irregular horizontal and vertical striations create a lightly distressed texture. At 138cm wide, it is specified for domestic upholstery and is suitable for seating projects requiring a softly patterned, mid-weight textile. Aftercare is professional; its flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the dusty blush-taupe ground to soften a contemporary armchair, headboard or sofa, pairing it with warm ivory, pale timber and muted blue-grey accents. The chalky striations also work well alongside brushed metal or aged finishes where a quietly weathered look is wanted.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
