About this fabric

The woven surface combines a pale sage-grey ground with darker grey flecks, giving the colourway a gently mottled depth rather than a flat appearance. Short chenille fibres catch the light across the irregular horizontal weave, creating a tactile finish with a smart, understated character. This 138cm-wide fabric is made from 91% polyester and 9% viscose and is graded for contract upholstery. It has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade; aftercare is professional.

How to use it

Pair this cool sage-grey with chalky whites, soft stone and pale timber for a calm contemporary scheme, or use it to temper darker charcoal and aged-wood furniture. Its fine flecking is especially effective on tailored upholstery where the woven texture remains visible.

Use this muted sage-grey chenille on sofas, armchairs or dining seating where its softly flecked texture can add quiet depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
