About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a close, gently directional pile that creates the swatch’s softly varied blue tones. The colour sits between muted navy and slate blue, reading cool and composed rather than bright or saturated. PAS2703 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable for practical aftercare. It meets Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this deep slate-blue velvet on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its subtle nap can add depth to the upholstery. Pair it with pale neutrals, smoked timber or brushed metal to keep the cool blue feeling tailored and contemporary.
