About this fabric

This plain velvet is woven from 100% polyester and measures 138cm wide, making it suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The dark teal tone sits between blue and green, reading cool and atmospheric rather than bright or jewel-like. Close across the swatch, the velvet pile catches the light in soft vertical variations, adding depth without a printed motif. PAS2721 is machine washable and has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use PAS2721 on a deep-buttoned sofa, occasional chair or upholstered headboard where its blue-green depth can become the room’s focal colour. Pair the cool teal with warm timber, aged brass or softly contrasting neutrals to balance the velvet’s saturated finish.
