About this fabric

The swatch has a smooth, unpatterned velvet face in a dark plum tone that sits between aubergine and burgundy. Subtle directional shading across the surface gives the colour depth without introducing a motif or visible weave pattern. Made from 100% polyester, SAP3759 is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Contract GreenFR® Plus flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this deep plum colourway on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its dark, berry-toned depth can anchor a room. Combine it with warm neutrals, aged timber or brushed brass to balance the velvet’s softly dramatic finish.
