About this fabric
TUR209 is a flat weave in 100% polyester, supplied at 138cm wide. Seen close up, its saturated violet-purple ground is enlivened by a fine, even crosswise-and-vertical weave rather than a printed motif. The compact surface gives the colour softly striated depth, with brighter magenta-violet threads lifting through the purple as the light moves across the swatch. It is graded for contract and domestic upholstery, is machine washable, and has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this vivid violet-purple on a statement armchair, sofa or banquette where its jewel-like saturation can lead the scheme. Balance the strong colour with warm neutrals, pale timber or softly contrasting pink and lilac accents.
