About this fabric

This fine chenille is woven from 100% polyester and has a close, tactile herringbone structure visible across the 138cm-wide cloth. The colour combines a cool violet cast with softened mauve and pink notes, while the small-scale weave adds depth without becoming a dominant pattern. Rated for contract and domestic upholstery, it is suited to seating and other upholstered applications. SCE2089 is machine washable, with domestic cigarette and match flame retardancy, and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this dusty mauve-lilac on a compact sofa, armchair or dining seat where its fine herringbone can add texture without overwhelming the room. Pair it with chalky neutrals, warm timber and muted plum or grey-violet accents to draw out its softened pink-purple depth.

A softly muted mauve-lilac chenille that brings subtle woven texture and gentle colour to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
