About this fabric

This plain chenille has a fine, close texture with delicate tonal variation rather than a printed motif, giving the dusty lilac shade quiet depth. Made from 100% polyester and measuring 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The surface reads softly refined rather than bright or highly saturated, making this colourway an understated choice for chairs, sofas and headboards. It is machine washable and supplied with Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool, muted mauve-lilac on a statement armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its gentle purple cast can soften grey, chalky white and natural timber. Pair it with brushed metal or deeper plum accents to bring out the chenille’s subtle tonal depth.
