About this fabric

The close chenille pile gives this colourway a tactile, softly brushed finish, while the subtle tonal variation keeps the terracotta red from appearing flat. Its warm rust and copper undertones create a grounded, inviting look rather than a bright or highly saturated orange. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use BEL1978 on a statement armchair, dining seat or upholstered sofa where its muted terracotta tone can warm neutral schemes. Pair it with aged timber, cream, sand and deep brown accents to emphasise the chenille’s earthy depth.
