About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide faux linen has a fine, compact weave that gives the surface its natural-looking linen character. The colour is a subdued terracotta brown rather than a bright red, with darker flecks and softly varied threads visible across the face. Suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery, it is also machine washable for practical everyday use. Flame retardancy is Domestic Cig & Match, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this muted terracotta-brown on an armchair, dining seat or sofa to introduce a softly earthy accent without the intensity of saturated red. Pair it with warm oak, aged brass, clay tones and creamy neutrals to bring out the fabric’s russet depth.

A warm, heathered terracotta-brown faux linen that brings understated colour and texture to upholstery, cushions and relaxed window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
