Bergamo FabricBER3356_2022-05-05-110123_YFAF

Bergamo is shown here in a warm, muted rust terracotta colourway, softened by fine grey and taupe threads across the surface. Its closely woven texture gives the shade a gently variegated, tactile appearance rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The chenille has a predominantly burnt terracotta ground with subtle grey-brown flecks and an irregular, closely spaced linear motif that creates quiet movement across the cloth. Light catches the raised weave unevenly, bringing out darker rust depth alongside softer mineral highlights. Made from 100% polyester, Bergamo is 138cm wide and graded for domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this warm rust shade on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its softly mottled surface can add depth without a strong contrast pattern. Balance it with warm timber, charcoal accents and creamy neutrals to keep the terracotta tone grounded.

Use this warm rust chenille to bring depth to domestic seating, pairing it with weathered wood, charcoal or soft cream.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
