Bergamo FabricBER3359_2022-05-05-105828_GQFA

Bergamo is a tactile chenille woven in a softly mottled blend of taupe, muted olive green and earthy rust. Its irregular broken lines create a gently weathered, painterly surface with plenty of visual depth.

About this fabric

The design is formed from fragmented horizontal and vertical bands, with rust-red and olive threads dispersed through a warm taupe ground. The chenille construction gives the surface a visibly raised, softly napped texture, while the restrained colour mix keeps the overall impression relaxed rather than bright. Made from 100% polyester and 138cm wide, this fabric is graded for domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Pair this taupe-led colourway with warm timber, aged leather and softly chalky wall tones, or pick out its muted olive and rust threads in cushions and painted furniture. Its broken, tactile pattern is well suited to an armchair, headboard or relaxed sofa in a domestic room.

Use this softly weathered taupe, olive and rust chenille to bring layered colour and tactile interest to domestic seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
