About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester chenille, this 138cm-wide fabric has a fine, tactile texture that catches the light in subtly brighter and darker threads. The terracotta-red tone feels warm and grounded, with a softened rust quality rather than a clear, vivid scarlet. It is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery, making the richly coloured surface practical for upholstered furniture in either setting. CAN2470 is machine washable and has domestic cigarette and match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm terracotta-red on a chair, sofa or banquette to create a confident focal point, then balance its rust-orange depth with chalky neutrals, aged timber or muted olive accents. The quietly textured chenille works especially well where a strong colour is wanted without a patterned finish.
