About this fabric

The close chenille weave is visibly textured, with fine fibres catching the light to create subtle shifts between muted plum, violet and deeper purple. This plain colourway has no distinct printed motif, allowing the surface texture and depth of colour to define its character. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, BEL1981 is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to treat it to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use BEL1981 on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its dusky plum tone can act as a deeper colour anchor. Pair it with warm neutrals, smoky greys or brushed metal to balance the cool purple depth without losing its richness.
