About this fabric

The saturated purple tone shifts gently from brighter violet highlights to deeper plum shading as the velvet pile catches the light. Made from 100% polyester and 138cm wide, this velvet is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable, with Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade. The close, even surface visible in the swatch gives the colour a plush, luxe character without introducing a woven motif.

How to use it

Use this deep berry-purple on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its light-catching pile can add colour and depth. Balance the saturated tone with warm neutrals, smoked timber or dusky pink accents.
