About this fabric

The close-up shows a dense chenille weave built from fine horizontal lines, with lighter and darker plum fibres creating gentle tonal variation across the surface. Made from 84% polyester and 16% recycled cotton, this 138cm-wide fabric is graded for domestic upholstery. The softly brushed chenille texture catches the light in short, understated highlights rather than a glossy sheen. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy.

How to use it

Use this dusky plum colourway on a domestic sofa, armchair or dining seat where its deep berry tone can sit against warm timber, charcoal, aged brass or soft neutral walls. The subdued surface texture adds depth without introducing a separate pattern.

A deep, muted plum chenille that brings soft colour and tactile depth to domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
