About this fabric

The close-up shows a dense, irregular woven texture made from warm mustard, ochre and deeper brown fibres, creating a softly variegated surface rather than a printed pattern. This chenille is 138cm wide and composed of 84% polyester and 16% recycled cotton. It is classified as Domestic upholstery grade, with machine-washable aftercare and Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy. The golden tone feels earthy and enveloping, while the small-scale weave keeps the colour visually nuanced across larger upholstered forms.

How to use it

Use this warm ochre-gold colourway on a domestic sofa, armchair or dining seat to bring a grounded amber note into a room. Pair it with walnut, aged brass, tobacco leather or muted cream textiles to pick up the darker threads and soften the overall warmth.

A warm, tactile chenille suited to domestic upholstery where its ochre-gold depth can add richness without a printed motif.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
