About this fabric

Woven as chenille in 84% polyester and 16% recycled cotton, ALT4234 has a compact, tactile surface with subtle light-and-dark flecks across its 138cm width. The colour sits between soft sage and weathered olive, with cooler grey notes visible in the closely blended yarns. Rated for domestic upholstery, it is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy. The understated horizontal texture keeps the fabric visually quiet while adding close-up interest to upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Pair this muted olive-sage shade with warm timber, putty neutrals and aged brass for a relaxed, grounded scheme. It is well suited to domestic sofas, armchairs and dining seats where its woven texture can be appreciated up close.

Use this softly mottled olive-sage chenille to bring understated colour and tactile depth to domestic upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
