About this fabric

The close-up weave combines light and mid grey fibres with a restrained sage cast, producing a quiet, softly flecked texture rather than a printed motif. As a chenille made from 84% polyester and 16% recycled cotton, it has a tactile woven finish suited to everyday domestic upholstery. The fabric is 138cm wide and has a domestic upholstery grade, with machine-washable aftercare and domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy. Its cool tone and fine horizontal variation give the surface depth without making the upholstery visually busy.

How to use it

Use this cool sage-grey on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its pale, mineral tone can sit comfortably with chalky whites, soft grey, natural wood and muted green accents. The small-scale texture also works well as a calm counterpoint to stronger patterned cushions.
