Saona Kiwi/Charcoal

Saona Kiwi/Charcoal places loose, painterly foliage over a cool charcoal-grey ground. Kiwi and lime leaves are lifted by flashes of turquoise, coral and chalky white.

About this fabric

The design is made up of tall, freely drawn stems and narrow leaves, with the vivid kiwi-green foliage creating a fresh contrast against the subdued charcoal background. Turquoise strokes, coral-tipped buds and small white flower forms give the repeat a varied, hand-painted character rather than a uniform geometric rhythm. Supplied at 236 gsm with a usable width of 139 cm, it has the substance for both upholstery and drapery applications. The vertical repeat is 64 cm and the horizontal repeat is 139 cm, allowing the elongated botanical groupings to read clearly across a width.

How to use it

Use it on a statement chair, bench or full-length curtains where the cool charcoal ground can settle the lively green foliage. Pair with chalky neutrals and charcoal for a restrained scheme, or draw out the turquoise and coral details with small accent cushions.

Use the charcoal ground to anchor the lively kiwi foliage, with turquoise, coral and white details adding fresh colour.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Saona Kiwi/Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
