Colour 2 Fabrics VelvetHAF0460-01

About this fabric

This 416gsm velvet is marked by a dark navy central band, edged with saturated lagoon and teal brush-like strokes before fading into pale blue at the outer areas. The irregular vertical striations create a large-scale, atmospheric motif rather than a precise geometric stripe. It has a 134.4cm usable width, with a 187.5cm vertical pattern repeat and a 134.4cm horizontal repeat. The supplied construction is 57.7 threads per cm, and the standard length is 60 metres.

How to use it

Use Wild Water/Lagoon/Sky on a statement chair, sofa or headboard, pairing its deep navy centre with pale timber, chalky neutrals or accents in the same cool turquoise range. Its vertical movement is especially effective when the upholstery allows the painterly bands to remain visible.

Use this cool, painterly velvet to bring layered lagoon, teal and deep navy tones to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
