About this fabric

This Harlequin fabric has a 392 gsm weight and 30 threads per cm, giving the densely patterned textile a substantial presence suited to upholstery. Its 44 cm vertical repeat and 68 cm horizontal repeat create a medium-scale field of irregular, angular lines rather than a conventional floral or geometric motif. Rosewood-brown and fire-rust strokes bring warmth, while teal and ink-blue accents add cooler depth against the light cream background. The 139.2 cm usable width and 30 m standard length make it practical for coordinated upholstery projects.

How to use it

Use Brazilian Rosewood/Fire on a statement chair, bench or occasional seat, pairing the cream ground with warm timber and letting the rust and teal marks supply the room’s colour. Keep larger surrounding surfaces quiet so the lively linear repeat remains legible.

Use this lively cream, teal and rust colourway to bring graphic energy to upholstered seating while keeping the surrounding scheme calm.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
