CAM1752 is a plain velvet in a soft, dusty mauve with a gentle grey-taupe cast. Its short pile catches the light unevenly, creating quiet shifts between pale mauve and deeper rose.

About this fabric
This 100% polyester velvet has a smooth, closely brushed surface with no visible motif, allowing the nuanced colour and changing nap to take centre stage. The muted mauve-pink tone reads softly rather than brightly, with cooler grey shading in some areas and warmer rose notes where the pile turns. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable, with domestic Cigarette and Match flame retardancy and the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use CAM1752 on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard alongside warm timber, aged metal and chalky neutrals. Its greyed mauve tone works particularly well where a room needs colour that feels softened and atmospheric rather than saturated.
A softly muted mauve velvet for upholstered seating, where its changing nap adds subtle depth to the finish.
