BEL1987 is a muted denim-blue chenille with a softly mottled, almost brushed appearance. Its close-up texture shifts subtly between blue and blue-grey, giving the plain surface quiet depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric
The fine chenille texture creates a gently varied surface, with lighter threads catching across the cool denim-blue ground. There is no visible printed motif; the interest comes from the low-contrast tonal movement and softly tactile finish. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, BEL1987 is graded for contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this cool, muted blue on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its softly mottled finish can add depth without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with warm oak, chalky neutrals or blue-grey walls to balance its slightly steely tone.
