About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a close, tactile texture and an irregular cloudy effect rather than a defined motif. The charcoal shade stays restrained and architectural, with lighter flecks emerging across the surface to prevent the dark ground from appearing flat. BEL1992 is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable. It meets Domestic Cig & Match flame-retardancy requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use the graphite-charcoal tone on a contemporary sofa, occasional chair or headboard, pairing it with pale stone, warm timber or brushed metal so the subtle mottling remains visible. Its dark neutral depth also works well as a grounding upholstery colour in a layered, tonal room.

Use this deep charcoal chenille to give sofas, dining seats and headboards a quietly tailored, textural finish.
