Bologna FabricBOL3271

BOL3271 brings a tightly woven charcoal and grey check to the Bologna collection, sharpened by slender red lines that form a subtle windowpane grid. Its dense, textured surface gives the colourway a tailored, structured appearance.

About this fabric

This flat-weave fabric combines mottled charcoal and pale grey threads in a small broken-check pattern, with muted red lines adding definition between the larger squares. The close weave gives the surface a firm, upholstery-ready look rather than a fluid drapery appearance. Made from 100% polyester and supplied at 138cm wide, it is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. BOL3271 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy, with treatment available for contract grade.

How to use it

Use the cool charcoal ground on a sofa, dining chair or headboard where the red windowpane lines can act as a restrained colour accent. Pair it with solid charcoal, slate grey or deep red cushions to draw out the fabric’s tailored contrast.

A tailored charcoal check with fine red lines for upholstered seating that needs a crisp, considered finish.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside BOL3271 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
