About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet has a dense-looking surface with gentle vertical shifts in tone visible across the swatch. The colour reads as a muted slate grey, with slightly lighter and darker areas created by the pile rather than a strong printed motif. It is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery and is machine washable. Flame retardancy is rated for Domestic Cig & Match, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this cool smoky grey on a structured sofa, dining chair or headboard where its soft sheen can catch daylight without making the room feel ornate. Pair it with pale stone, charcoal, brushed metal or warm timber to balance the blue-grey cast.
