About this fabric
This Bologna colourway is a 100% polyester flat weave, woven in a cool charcoal-and-pale-grey palette with near-black depth between the lighter broken checks. The compact motif creates a rhythmic houndstooth-like effect without appearing oversized, making the surface feel smart and structured. At 138cm wide, it is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. The fabric is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy; it can be treated to contract grade.
How to use it
Pair the charcoal ground with pale grey, stone or crisp white upholstery details for a graphic contemporary scheme, or use it to sharpen warmer timber and tan leather. Its small scale is particularly effective on tailored seating and dining chairs.
Use this monochrome small-check weave to bring tailored contrast to sofas, dining chairs or occasional upholstery.
