About this fabric

The medium-scale check is formed from broad taupe blocks, while the charcoal lines have a fine, broken texture that adds definition without overwhelming the ground. Subtle variation within the pale taupe weave gives the surface visible depth and keeps the large checks from appearing flat. Bologna BOL3272 is a 100% polyester flat-weave fabric, 138cm wide, and is graded for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and carries Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR®, with treatment available to achieve contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe and charcoal colourway on a tailored sofa, dining chair or occasional armchair, pairing it with charcoal, cream and natural wood accents. The softened check also works well against warmer stone walls where its darker lines can echo metal or painted details.

A softly contrasting taupe check with charcoal lines for tailored upholstery in both classic and contemporary rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
