About this fabric

This Cantare colourway has a muted warm taupe appearance, with fine vertical-looking threads and subtle tonal variation visible across the plain surface. The tactile chenille construction gives the fabric a softly cushioned, lightly brushed look without a pronounced pattern. Made from 100% polyester, it is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and offers domestic cigarette-and-match flame retardancy, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm taupe beige on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its quiet woven texture can soften darker timber, stone and charcoal accents. Its neutral brown-grey depth also works well as a grounding upholstery fabric in relaxed, tonal rooms.
