About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The visible surface is a muted taupe with warm grey-brown undertones, while changes in the nap create slightly lighter and darker patches across the swatch. It is machine washable and carries a domestic Cig & Match flame-retardancy rating, with treatment available to achieve Crib 5 contract grade. The restrained colour and soft velvet pile give CAM1735 a smart, understated presence on upholstered furniture.

How to use it

Use this mushroom-taupe colourway on a sofa, dining chair or headboard where its warm grey-brown tone can soften stronger wood finishes and richer accent colours. Pair it with off-whites, putty shades and aged metals for a calm, quietly tailored scheme.
