About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille has a compact, lightly flecked texture rather than a printed motif. The taupe-grey colourway is understated and softly shaded, with the raised chenille surface catching the light in fine vertical and horizontal variations. It is graded for contract and domestic upholstery and has machine-washable aftercare. The fabric meets Domestic Cig & Match requirements and can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use BEL1989 to upholster a contemporary sofa, dining chair or headboard where its soft taupe-grey tone can bridge cooler greys with warm stone and natural timber. Pair it with deeper charcoal accents for definition or keep the room tonal with chalky neutrals.
