About this fabric
Made from 100% polyester, this faux linen is 138cm wide and suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The close basket-like weave is clearly visible across the swatch, with a restrained crosshatch texture and subtle tonal shifts between taupe, grey and brown. It has a relaxed, natural appearance while the even construction gives the colourway a neat, dependable presence. BAC1238 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this warm grey taupe on a tailored sofa, window seat or dining chair to bring an earthy, low-contrast layer to rooms with oak, walnut, stone or brushed metal. Pair it with cream and putty neutrals for a calm scheme, or add rust and olive accents to draw out its brown undertone.
