About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide chenille is specified for both contract and domestic upholstery. The brown taupe ground shifts subtly between earthy brown and cooler smoky threads, while the short chenille pile catches the light across the surface. Its understated texture adds character to the plain design without creating a discernible motif. BEL1973 is machine washable and is suitable for domestic Cig & Match flame retardancy; it can also be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.

How to use it

Use this warm brown taupe on a sofa, armchair or banquette where its muted depth can soften pale stone, cream and natural timber schemes. Pair it with blackened metal or darker walnut when a more grounded, quietly tailored room is wanted.
