About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester, BEL1976 has a dense chenille texture with fine vertical variation and a gentle, softly napped appearance. The colour sits between crimson and raspberry, reading warm and vibrant while darker flecks add depth across the surface. At 138cm wide, it is suitable for contract and domestic upholstery. It is machine washable and supplied for domestic Cig & Match use, with the option to be treated to Crib 5 contract grade.
How to use it
Use this deep raspberry red on a statement armchair, banquette or footstool where its saturated tone can anchor softer neutrals, warm timber and brushed metal. The understated texture also works well on contemporary seating without introducing a visible pattern.
Use this richly coloured chenille to bring depth to upholstered seating, footstools or occasional chairs.

Pairs well with
BEL1976 is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
