About this fabric

Made from 100% polyester, this 138cm-wide velvet is suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery. The visible surface has closely packed horizontal lines and broken darker marks, giving the burgundy ground a softly weathered, dimensional appearance. Its pile catches the light unevenly, alternating muted plum highlights with deep shadowed bands. AMO3514 is machine washable and has Domestic Cig & Match GreenFR® flame retardancy, with treatment available to contract grade.

How to use it

Pair this deep burgundy-plum colourway with charcoal, smoked timber and aged brass for a moody, tailored scheme. Its dark horizontal texture is especially effective on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where the pile can catch changing light.
