About this fabric

The colourway moves between blackened plum, wine red and burgundy, with brighter red-orange threads appearing intermittently across the surface. A close, nubby weave forms uneven horizontal and vertical bands, giving the textile a richly irregular texture rather than a flat ground. The depth of colour makes the scattered warmer flecks particularly noticeable, adding restrained warmth to the otherwise cool, shadowed tone. Visually substantial and densely woven, it is best suited to upholstery where its textured surface can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use this dark burgundy-plum colourway on an armchair, sofa or occasional seat to create a moody focal point. Pair it with smoked timber, blackened metal and muted berry or rust accents to pick up the warmer flecks in the weave.

A richly dark, nubby textile that brings burgundy depth and subtle red-orange energy to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
