About this fabric

The fabric reads predominantly charcoal and black, with a nubby, closely worked texture that creates visible depth across the swatch. Small pale grey and silvery loops form an all-over abstract pattern rather than a large-scale motif. Muted blue-green and turquoise notes punctuate the ground, while occasional rusty orange flecks add restrained warmth. The concentrated pattern and substantial-looking woven surface make this colourway especially well suited to upholstered pieces where a dark, textural finish is desired.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where the charcoal ground can anchor a room, then pick up its subdued teal and rust flecks in cushions or smaller accessories. Its busy small-scale surface is particularly effective against quieter plain walls and flooring.

A dark, richly flecked upholstery cloth that brings subtle colour and tactile depth to seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
