Tide Recycled Monochrome combines broad, uneven black bands with warm cream and beige stripes in a distinctly tactile woven surface. The changing stripe widths give this outdoor colourway an organic, hand-drawn rhythm.

About this fabric

The palette moves between deep charcoal-black, soft cream and sandy beige, creating a high-contrast monochrome effect that still feels softened by the natural tones. Narrow lines sit alongside broad horizontal bands, while the close weave gives the surface a subtly grainy texture. Catalogued as an Outdoor textile with Outdoor performance features, it is suited to upholstery where a graphic striped surface is required. Its warm neutrals prevent the black from feeling stark, giving the colourway a relaxed, earthy character.

How to use it

Use it on outdoor cushions, bench seating or a statement occasional chair, pairing the black stripes with charcoal accents and the beige bands with warm stone, tan or natural wood.

Use the bold horizontal stripes on outdoor seating where their black-and-natural contrast can anchor softer neutral cushions.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
