Braid Monochrome

Arco Fabric

Braid Monochrome brings a sharply graphic character to the Arco collection, combining black and warm ivory in a tightly repeated woven design. Its surface has a visibly tactile, ridged quality that gives the monochrome pattern added depth.

About this fabric

The fabric is formed from closely packed chevrons and stepped geometric shapes, with black sections set against a creamy ivory ground. Fine woven ridges are visible across the surface, softening the bold contrast without losing the pattern’s crisp, architectural edge. The colourway reads as balanced rather than stark: the ivory brings warmth, while the black creates strong visual definition. No performance features or further specification data were supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use Braid Monochrome on a statement armchair, dining chair or tailored sofa where its black-and-ivory rhythm can act as the room’s graphic focal point. Pair it with warm timber, chalky walls and plain ivory textiles to temper the high-contrast pattern.

A high-contrast black and ivory chevron weave that brings graphic definition to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
