Flourish Monochrome

Burst Fabric

Flourish Monochrome combines a warm cream ground with scattered taupe, sand and charcoal abstract forms. Its close-up view reveals a tactile woven surface, giving the pattern gentle depth rather than a flat printed appearance.

About this fabric

This fabric is catalogued as a textile from Kirkby Design’s Burst collection, with an irregular arrangement of rounded, petal-like and brushstroke motifs. Cream and pale stone areas keep the overall impression light, while taupe, sandy beige and charcoal accents add contrast and visual rhythm. The tightly woven face has a softly raised, tactile character that makes the organic shapes read clearly across the surface. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this warm neutral colourway on a statement chair, sofa or headboard where the charcoal marks can anchor a room without overpowering the softer cream and taupe tones. Pair it with chalky walls, natural timber and textured plains for a layered, quietly modern scheme.

A softly graphic neutral weave that brings layered movement to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
