Band Monochrome

Rock Fabric

Band Monochrome pairs broad, near-black vertical bands with a warm ivory ground, creating a sharply graphic colourway with a tactile surface. The contrast is bold and architectural rather than colourful.

About this fabric

The close-up shows two deep black stripes set against a pale, warm ivory background. Slightly irregular stripe edges and the visible raised texture keep the strong linear pattern from appearing overly stark or machine-flat. The fabric is catalogued as a textile SKU and reads as a substantial woven suitable for upholstery. Its monochrome palette gives the design a smart, contemporary character while the ivory softens the severity of the black.

How to use it

Use Band Monochrome to upholster a clean-lined armchair, bench or occasional sofa where its tall black bands can act as a strong vertical feature. Pair it with warm ivory, charcoal and natural timber to echo its balanced light-and-dark tone.

A graphic black-and-ivory stripe that brings strong architectural contrast to contemporary upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
